• Question: why do you think you should win the money?

      Ooh now that’s a tricky question to ask us!! I think I should win because schools and the general public find my talks on lightning enjoyable and interesting. I also spend a lot of time volunteering to talk about science and this money would allow me to do that better.

      because I would probably hold on to it for a year, and give it to the next person who won, so they would actually get £1,000. But, if the rules don’t allow that,I would ask the student participants in this zone what they think I should do with it.

      Well, someone has to win and I think spending the money on community projects is a way to educate, engage and improve the lifestyle of a range of people – from young children to the elderly.
