• Question: why do we sneeze

      Let’s see if I actually know this. First, without googling:

      – some fine hairs at the top of the nose get activated; the body thinks that this could be invasion of some nasty little bugs, or some nasty chemical, so a sneeze is triggered to try to get rid of it.

      Now, after googling:

      …. so basically I was on the right lines — something irritates the lining of your nose and your body tries to get rid of it.
