I’d like to improve my skills in talking about my work and also in making science radio programmes. So I’d use the money to go on training courses to learn how to do that. Also, I’d like to do talk about lightning at schools and science festivals outside of South Wales so I may use some of the money to pay for travel to do that.

I can use the money to come and visit schools in the UK bringing some objects from the Jenner Museum with me to talk about the history of vaccination and modern day vaccination. OR. My work colleagues at the South African Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative in South Africa mde a comic story about why TB is important and volunteering for a TB vaccine trial (below is 1 page). Kids from one school liked the comic so much they turned it into a play. They would like to use the £500 prize money to fund the school kids in Cape Town to perform the play at a local shopping mall and at some other schools. You can go to my profile and vote on whether you want me to spend it in the UK or Africa

I would use it to buy some portable equipment and print some posters that can be used in science fairs to show people about my work.
