• Question: what is the maximum level of carbon monoxide you can have in your body (death)?

      According to Wikipedia 100ppm or greater is bad for your health although 12,800 ppm (1.28%) is enough for death. 1.28% doesn’t sound like very much. Scary.

      Very little – that’s why if you have a gas boiler in a house it can be very dangerous if it isn’t maintained properly. Sadly, every year people die from carbon monoxide poisening. It’s odourless, colourless and tasteless too, which doesn’t help because it’s difficult to know it’s there until it’s too late!
