      On average, quite a few years less than a non-smoker who is otherwise equal. However, this doesn’t take into consideration that smoking can kill some people relatively quickly and some people it will take a longer time. Also, smokers tend to make less sensible health decision in other areas like diet and exercise, so it’s a complex question to answer very accurately because it can be hard to take all these other factors into consideration.
