I look at methods of protecting aeroplanes against damage from lightning strikes. I also present a science radio show!

Hi azreal101, we give people vaccines for TB and I look in the blood of the people who get the vaccines for immune responses. I mostly teach other people how to do the experiments, rather than do them myself

I work on oil spill modelling. My work is important to help prevent environmental disasters such as the blow out from the BP Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010. By having a better understanding of oil spill modelling we can put in necessary control measures.

I find things that are too hard for people to do, and try to work out how to get computers to do them instead.

I do experiments to help us to understand how people see the world – how we look at pictures, how our eyes move, how much of the world we can remember, and how good we are at searching for objects and recognising faces.
