watch out …. ! Smiling is a common signal of friendship, but with chimps it’s a sign of aggression. Smile at a chimp and you’ll make them upset. Also, crooks will smile at you to gain your confidence, and then nick your ipod. Fortunately, we are good at detecting all kinds of other subtle signals that help us see whether a smile is genuine or not. But, always hold on to your ipod.
