  It depends. There are lots of good charities out there doing worthwhile work. I tend to donate to a different charity each year – this year it’s WaterAid. One thing is that I never donate to animal charities as in my opinion, my money is better spent helping human beings in need whether it’s in this country or across the world (of course guide dog charities are different as they help the blind).
