I think if I wasn’t studying lightning and aeroplanes, I’d like to study acoustics and the science behind how musical instruments work. Or use physics to design rollercoasters – that would be cool!

Hi shmexiibob, ooooh that’s a good question. I think I would be study to be an archaeologist so I could go and discover some lost pyramids in Egypt.

I work on how to make computers do smart and useful things. You can think of that as a kind of “computer psychology” – looking at how do computers behave, and why, and how could we make them behave differently. If I wasn’t doing that, I’d be doing human psychology. Most probably I would specialise in how people perceive the world, how sometimes they get false/crazy beliefs and work on how we can fix that.

I’ve always been interested in animal behaviour – probably due to my crazy cats!

I’d like to be an astrophysicist, trying to find out about the Universe by analysing data from radio-telescopes and satellites!
