If I wasn’t a scientist I’d like to be a radio presenter and musician. Luckily, I am able to do these two things as a hobby at the moment so have the best of all worlds!

If I wasn’t a scientist I’d like to be a hairdresser. Hairdressing is a creative, flexible, self-employed, transferable skill. It must be quite a satisfying job.

It is always possible to be a scientist. But I suppose what you mean is: if I couldn’t do this as a paid job. Well, in that case, I might be a lawyer. I really love arguing.

I’d quite like to write fiction, so being an author would be my choice!

I’d be a florist as I love flowers and I also love hill walking so maybe a walking guide in the Cairngorms
