• Question: Have you ever watched a brain operation.

      Not an operation in terms of a medical procedure – but I watch in the brain IN operation. What I mean is that I have used equipment that monitors brain activity to see which parts of the brain are used when I ask volunteers to do particular tasks. I don’t usually research diseased brains (that might need an operation) because there is still so much to learn about how normal, healthy brains work!
