• Question: does your job effect the environment?

      Well the lab equipment uses a lot of energy and we generate a lot of waste as we use a lot of sterile, disposable, plasticware to do the cell culture in. Our lab manager is very into recycling so we try to recycle as much as we can and to turn of machines that aren’t being used. We also have to autoclave all our lab waste so we don’t release any of the bacteria and viruses we work with into the environment

      Yes. We are making lighter planes which use less fuel and so is better for the environment.

      Nope, mine doesn’t affect the environment in any significant way.
