Question: can a robot see?

Any machine with a camera can “see” in the sense that it can capture visual information. However, there are no machines that see in the same way a human sees. It might happen one day, but the problem at the moment is that we don’t yet have a complete understanding of how human’s see, so we couldn’t program a robot to do the same thing even if we wanted to!
