Water can be created by burning hydrogen! Some scientists are working on hydrogen cars that will exhaust water instead of nasty fumes!

It is possible to create water out of hydrogen and oxygen, the two elements involved.

Water can be created but the majority of water is cycled from the oceans vapourised into clouds. The clouds get blown onto the land and the water is released as rain/snow which then enters streams and rivers and flows back out to sea.

it is possible to create water (from hydrogen and oxygen) but creating the basic elements hydrogen and oxygen far far more difficult.
